Vision and Ethos


Our school fosters a welcoming, caring, stimulating and secure environment which encourages development in all aspects of children’s growth as learners. The nurturing of all within the school based on Christian attitudes of tolerance, care concern and forgiveness enables the broadening of horizons and the development of children’s all round potential.


Vision, Value and Aims

Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre C of E VC Primary School aims to…

  • provide activities and experiences which enable children to flourish and achieve their potential academically, spiritually, morally, socially and creatively
  • provide a high quality education in a happy, Christian learning environment where everyone is respected
  • deliver a wide-ranging, stimulating and challenging curriculum, helping all to develop enquiring minds and independence in learning to enable pupils to become lifelong learners
  • meet pupils’ diverse needs by overcoming barriers to learning, identifying those vulnerable to underachievement and putting in place appropriate measures to enable them to access education
  • enable our pupils to gain an understanding of other peoples’ lives and how their decisions and choices affect others in our community and globally
